Senior Traveler Layover Checklist
Mobility assistance, medication management, and pacing strategy for a layover that doesn’t leave you exhausted before the second flight. Built around how airport assistance actually works, not general travel advice.
Know this before you fly: wheelchair and mobility assistance through the terminal comes from your airline, not TSA. TSA Cares (855-787-2227) only covers the security screening portion โ call at least 72 hours ahead if you need extra support there. Book airline assistance separately, ideally when you first book your flight.
